December: Holiday Cookie Smoothie 🥛🍌🎄🕎

A healthy smoothie all dressed up for your favorite holiday! Top it with a few red and green sprinkles and a red paper straw for Christmas, or blue and white sprinkles and a blue paper straw for Hannukah! If you are a Grinch, just top it with bright green sprinkles and a green straw! It seems indulgent, but it’s not, and it will put everyone in the holiday spirit. (#ad)

Health benefits of this smoothie:

▪️Banana (1) provides natural sweetness, the electrolyte potassium, and 3g of fiber.

HOLIDAY COOKIE SMOOTHIE

Serving size: 1 smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • ¼ cup uncooked old fashioned oats
  • 1 banana
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 2 cups ice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: garnish with whipped topping and sprinkles to make it festive.

Directions:

Place ingredients in blender and mix until smooth. Garnish with optional toppings and serve!
