DINING OUT: Texas Roadhouse
Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana, in 1993. It began with a dream sketched on a cocktail napkin. Since then, the company has grown to more than 580 locations in 49 states and 22 international locations in nine foreign countries.
Texas Roadhouse is famous for its hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, made-from-scratch sides, and fresh-baked bread. Each Texas Roadhouse restaurant employs a butcher and a baker. The butchers hand cut each and every steak that is served. The bakers make yeast rolls from scratch which are then baked every five minutes and are served piping hot along with homemade cinnamon butter.
Here are some of the worst, better, and middle of the road choices from Texas Roadhouse. To view the full nutrition info, go here https://m.nutritionix.com/texas-roadhouse/portal
TIP: you won’t over-eat the rolls if they aren’t on your table! Ask them to only bring one or skip them altogether.
