🌟 Becoming Your Best – Tip #1
- HIRE AN EXPERT
When clients have asked what they can do to be the best at “Yada Yada Yada,” the first response is to hire an expert. Not a generalist, they are helpful too when you are starting out, but a person who specifically has trained (and won) with the goal you have.
Wanna be a better tennis player, hire the best tennis coach in your area. Bodybuilder? Find the best who has competed and won. Golf? You got it, take private lessons from the best. Karate? You better find the best dojo in your area and take specific lessons, group is fine, individual is better.
Work out a deal if necessary, even if it’s group lessons with an occasional private lesson, or helping with marketing, or maintaining the property in exchange.
Some say, for example, “Well, I joined a group of people who run.” That’s great! It’s awesome to have friends who are in it together, and that will be another tip down the line. Difference is…you aren’t paying them.
At the end of the day you want an expert to pay attention to you, what skills you need work on, where you need to improve. Every BODY is different so just a group training with people at your level will not necessarily make you the best, just maybe the best in your group.
Just starting out or not too far along? You can start with a regular coach or trainer for sure, because you still have to learn what you are even doing. But at some point, when you want to be the best, you should hire an expert and work with them regularly.
