Incremental Changes – Tip #1
Over the next 7 months, on Fridays we will be posting small incremental changes that you can make to improve your health and fitness. No single thing is very difficult but by making the changes, they will incrementally add up to a big difference. You’ll be surprised at how much healthier and stronger you will feel at the end! Who is in with us?!
How It Works:
- Start with the first change and continue to do it every day.
- When the next one comes on Friday, add it on but don’t stop doing the first.
- Continue on this way until the end (30 changes).
CHANGE #1: Drink a full glass of water when you wake up every day.
About 60% of your body is comprised of water. Your body loses water daily through sweat, breath, urine, and bowel movements. These are known as water outputs. If you don’t take in enough water throughout the day to make up for these losses, it can lead to dehydration. Water is involved in several bodily functions, including carrying nutrients and oxygen to cells, regulating body temperature, lubricating joints, and protecting your organs and tissues.
Need a tumbler? Try this one. This is the exact cup that we use and we love it! It keeps things cold for sure. It’s been dropped, rolled over, left in the car, and it still looks as good as day 1.
